Accessibility statement

We want HealthVetted to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a working target, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time checkbox.

• Keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
• A high-contrast mode you can toggle on.
• Semantic HTML, landmarks, and skip-to-content for screen-reader users.
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful images and labels on form fields.
• Readable type, generous spacing, and color contrast checked against WCAG AA.

We have not completed a formal third-party WCAG audit, so we describe AA as a target we work toward rather than a certified result. Some embedded third-party content (for example, external videos) may not fully meet our standard. We are working to improve these areas.
