HealthVetted is operated by HealthVetted, LLC(“HealthVetted”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains how we handle information when you visit healthvetted.com. Questions: [email protected].

• Usage data (first-party, privacy-friendly). We count page views with our own measurement beacon to understand which content is useful. It does not store your IP address and does not set advertising cookies or build a cross-site profile of you.
• Cookie preferences. A small cookie remembers your consent choices (see our cookie policy).
• Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter or email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

We do not knowingly collect health conditions tied to your identity, and you should not email us sensitive medical details.

• To operate, secure, and improve the site and our content.
• To send our newsletter and respond to messages you send us.
• To understand aggregate usage trends (not to track you individually).
• To comply with law and enforce our terms.

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are your consent (newsletter, optional cookies) and our legitimate interests (running and improving a free, privacy-light site).

We share the minimum necessary data with vetted providers that operate the site on our behalf — for example, our email provider (Resend) to deliver the newsletter, and our hosting and security infrastructure. These providers process data under contract and only for us. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Some links are affiliate links. When you click them, the destination merchant or network (for example, Amazon Associates) may set its own cookies and apply its own privacy policy, which we do not control. How affiliate revenue works is explained in how we make money.

Depending on where you live (including under CCPA/CPRA in California and the GDPR in the EU/UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of sale/sharing — which we do not do. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected (newsletter subscribers until you unsubscribe; emails as long as needed to handle your request). We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, though no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

HealthVetted is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.

We operate in the United States. If you access the site from outside the US, you understand your information is processed in the US, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

We may update this policy; we will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, make a reasonable effort to flag them. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
