DisclosureWe earn commission on partner links; ranking is set by our evidence-based methodology — not advertisers. Read policy
Who pays us, where our facts come from, how AI and clinicians both touch every page, and how we fix mistakes. The short version: we sell nothing, affiliate revenue never moves a ranking, and we date and source what we publish.
HealthVetted does not manufacture, sell, or hold inventory in any product we cover. We earn affiliate commissions when readers buy through some of our links, but commissions never change a ranking, a score, or whether a product is recommended. A product with no affiliate relationship routinely outranks one that pays us. The full money trail is in our affiliate disclosure.
Clinical and pricing claims are built from primary sources: FDA labeling and approval documents, peer-reviewed studies indexed in PubMed, and .gov / .edureferences. Where a brand’s own material is the only source for a figure (for example, a self-pay price), we say so and date it. We do not cite marketing copy as evidence, and we link the underlying study or document wherever one exists so you can check it yourself.
We use AI tooling to assemble first drafts, structure data tables, and keep pricing and availability current at scale. Nothing publishes on the strength of a model alone: every clinical claim is checked against the primary sources above and linked inline through our review process before it ships. If a claim cannot be traced to a verifiable source, it does not run. We think disclosing this is more honest than pretending a newsroom of dozens hand-types every page.
Rankings come from a single six-axis rubric — effectiveness, safety, value, accessibility, user experience, and trust — with per-page weights published openly, down to the source-code constants, on our methodology page. The rubric is the only input to position. Editor overrides are rare, always favor regulatory safety, and are logged.
Prices are verified monthly, FDA labeling changes trigger a re-review within seven days, and featured products are re-reviewed at least quarterly. When we get something wrong, we correct it and note the change on the affected review rather than editing silently. Flag an error to [email protected] (clinical issues: [email protected]) and we respond within five business days.
If a recommendation would change because of who pays us, it is not a recommendation we will publish.
